Now, we know parents are probably wondering, “what are we going to do to keep our kids minds off technology?” – there are many events that take place over the school holiday, so may fun activities for you and your kids. The AFL Finals is one thing that you can do as a family or if that is too expensive there is also the Grand Final Parade which is free to attend and a great day out for everyone. The Royal Melbourne Show is always an amazing day out for the whole family. You can always head out to the zoo whether it be Melbourne Zoo or Werribee Zoo. There are always events going on around school holidays so that’s not an excuse.
Social September is a great initiative and should be a must do for any family even as an exercise to get closer together. Shut off all the technology and play a board game that always brings laughter and joy. The aim is for people to take part in this event because it will strengthen you as a person and build better relationships.
