Creating a new website redesign for Melbourne-based Sharon Kershaw Celebrant was a wonderful experience for the Web Marketing Angels team.
The Sharon Kershaw Celebrant website is packed with extensive information about Sharon herself, as well as all the services she offers. These services obviously include weddings, but also naming ceremonies, pet blessings, and even house blessings.
Our goal was for this website redesign to reflect Sharon Kershaw’s personality, both as a celebrant and as an individual. The content clearly relays her vision as a celebrant and her belief in the importance of equality and respect for all.
We began with a simple, yet appealing logo design in grey. The colour palette is a soft, creamy yellow with grey and white to complement the design. These colours balance perfectly with the images on the site and are also on trend at the moment. In fact, they are very close to Pantone’s colours of the year for 2021.

The structure of the website design Melbourne is straightforward, with a page dedicated to each important element of the business. Pages include About Me, Weddings, Services, Testimonials, My Blog, and Contact Me.
There is also a Gallery page for all the beautiful ceremonies Sharon Kershaw Celebrant has officiated, as well as a page titled Check These Out, which is dedicated to sharing the details of other service providers that Sharon has worked with and recommends. The Contact Me page has a custom contact form, contact details and map integration.
An effective website footer should include contact information, as well as a footer menu with page links, and social media links. The footer for this website includes all of these, as well as credentials and important affiliate links.
